Biography

Carmen "Jazz" Alvarez was born in Barcelona, Spain to a Spanish mother and a Jamaican father. She started singing at the age of 5 in her church choir and quickly fell in love with music. By the time she was a teenager, she had already started performing at local venues, showcasing her powerful voice and soulful delivery.

Jazz's big break came when she auditioned for a talent show on national television and blew away the judges and the audience with her rendition of "Respect" by Aretha Franklin. She went on to win the show and was immediately signed to a major record label.

Jazz's music is a fusion of jazz, soul, and rock, and she's known for her electrifying live performances and soulful voice. Her stage presence is unmatched, and she's often described as a force of nature. Jazz's songwriting is deeply personal, and she draws inspiration from her own experiences and those of her friends and family.

Jazz has been open about her struggles with alcohol addiction, and she's used her music as a way to cope with her demons. She's also been involved in several controversies over the years, but her talent and charisma have always managed to keep her on top.

Despite the ups and downs of her career, Jazz has won 9 major awards, including a Grammy for Best New Artist. She continues to tour and record music, and her fans can't wait to see what she'll do next.
