Amara Kim

Amara Watanabe grew up between continents — Nairobi until age ten, then Osaka, then finally Los Angeles for college — and carries all three cities in her music without making a project of it. The influences are there if you listen for them, but mostly what you hear is someone who sounds entirely like herself.
